Automation and Applied Informatics Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering PETROŞANI Program description Within this specialization are prepared skilled engineers in high technical fields: automation, robotics and computer use in industrial applications. This specialization ensures competences as: analysis, synthesis and implementation of the classical numerical control of the processes; evolved systems for process control and evolved systems for robots control and production automated systems; modeling and simulation of systems and processes using appropriate work environments; achievement and development of programs for data acquisition and control of equipment based on specialized integrated circuits, microprocessors and PLCs; maintenance of the control systems implemented by digital equipment.
