Rehabilitation of Construction Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Civil Engineering TIMIŞOARA Program description The service life of construction has become very important since, for instance, in the EU 50% of the total construction industry resources were used for repair/rehabilitation and maintenance of existing structures and the other 50% were used for new constructions.Why “Constructions’ Rehabilitation”? Because of the social and economic impact of the durability and safety service of constructions. The existing structures should respond to new demands regarding changes of its function, new quality criteria, new design codes and actions, and consequently it should be rehabilitated. These problems are continuously discussed at international conferences.
