Mathematics and Computer Science Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Mathematics IAŞI Program description Mathematics is one of the oldest known intellectual tools in the continuous effort of the humanity towards the knowledge and the understanding of the Universe and the natural phenomena. Considering the necessity of a coherent logical language, Mathematics developed theories, methods and techniques which, once made available to other sciences, like Physics, Chemistry, Economy, Biology, Informatics, Sociology, Engineering Sciences etc., opened for them new horizons and possibilities for a remarkable progress.
