Industrial Environmental Engineering and Protection Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Materials and Environmental Engineering CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The undergraduate program in Engineering and Environmental Protection in Industry - 4 years, day course, 240 credits - accredited since 1997, trains engineers with rich scientific and fundamental technical knowledge specialized in engineering and environmental protection. Specialized training is completed with disciplines in the field of engineering materials, applied informatics, computer aided design and is finalized with legal and economic disciplines, enabling graduates to answer to the modern requirements of durable development in a sustainable industrial environment. The knowledge, competences and skills acquired concern the following: managing and problem solving of specific environmental issues for sustainable development; development and operation of the pollutants monitoring systems; environmental quality control, developing technologies with reduced environmental impact; integrated management of natural resources and waste; effective use of information resources. Future graduates can continue their studies with a master’s degree and a doctorate, or may work in various economic and social organizations.
