Machine Building Technology Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Robotics and Production Management CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The aim of ME is to prepare good production engineering graduate with good knowledge in English as well, mainly for multinational companies from Romania, such as: Emerson, Hanna Instruments, Star Transmission.The first 2 years of the ME English Program offers courses of general mechanical engineering (e.g. mechanical strength, material sciences and machine tools elements). In each year there are courses on computer for engineers, such as: Computer Programing, Computer Aided Graphics, Finite Element Analysis, Computer Aided Manufacturing and CNC Programming. In the years 3 and 4 there are specialized courses on Design of Cutting Tools, Non-conventional technologies, Manufacturing Engineering, Metal Forming Technologies, etc.The Project work diploma is with a practical orientation to the real tasks that the companies are asking in our days.At the end of years 1, 2 and 3 there is a 3 weeks period for a practical training in a company, where the students are taking a subject for their Project Diploma.Manufacturing Engineering is not only tradition (over 60 years), has new and modern equipment, especially in the field of rapid prototyping and CNC manufacturing, computer-aided manufacturing, to provide future skills.
