Digital Production Systems Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Robotics and Production Management BISTRIŢA Program description The programme is conceived in order to offer a solid training in the field of design and exploitation of equipment and machine – tools in modern manufacturing systems. Thus, the curricula contains topics destined to build abilities for design or production engineers, are based on software packages for advanced design or simulation ( Catia V5, SolidWorks), machine – tools and manufacturing systems design and development methods, design criteria for products. The practical training is performed in laboratories endowed with 3D modelling and simulation software, as well as with equipment and machine – tools for the physical manufacturing of models and prototypes. In the final year, students are working closely with the economic environment for the graduation thesis.
