Telecommunication Network Engineering Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering TIMIŞOARA Program description The programme focuses on advanced technologies used in fixed and mobile communications, wired and wireless. It is suitable for in-dept designing, combined with learning through applicative research and it includes a broad range of compulsory courses, e.g. Antennas and Wave Propagation, Advanced Topics in Signal Processing, Selected Topics in Communication Engineering, Networks Modelling, a Mobile Communication Networks, Optical Communication Systems and Networks and optional ones (Modern Programming Techniques, Advanced Multimedia Technologies Spectral Analysis and Estimation, etc.). Among acquired competences are analysis, designing, testing and evaluation of complex telecom systems; modelling and planning of complex telecom networks; hardware and software installing, configuration, operation and maintenance of telecom networks.
