Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters IAŞI Program description The BA Study Programme in ”Modern Language and Literature (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian) ‒ Modern Language and Literature (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian)” is set up within the managerial and legal framework of the Faculty of Letters of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. The length of the study programme is three years, in accordance with the regulations of the Bologna Process. According to the capacity of the programme, 200 students are accepted annually in the first year of study. The didactic staff is part of the Department of Romanian Studies, Journalism ‒ Communication Sciences and Comparative Literature and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The graduates from this programme can choose their future careers from a variety of areas of the social, political, cultural, and economic life. The jobs available to them are: teacher, translator, scientific referee in education, for publishing houses or cultural institutions, manager of cultural organizations, secretary of faculties or academic institutes, school councilor, librarian, proofreader, publicist, columnist, editorialist, philological research assistant, specialist in foreign or intercultural relationships etc.
