Primary and Pre-school Teacher Education Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters and Sciences PLOIEŞTI Program description The undergraduates of this programme will acquire knowledge, competences and abilities both in the preschool/primary education and in the inclusive education field. Their professional competences will be: designing education programmes suitable for various training levels and target groups, carrying out activities specific to the preschool and primary school education, assessing learning processes, outcomes and progress of young learners, managerial approach of preschool children and young learners, learning/social integration activities of the target group, counseling and assisting pedagogically and psychologically various categories (children/students, families, teachers, employees), self-assessment and continuous improvement of professional practices and career development. At the same time, the following transversal competences will be developed: applying principles and professional deontology norms based on explicit valuable options specific to the specialist in education sciences; efficiently cooperating within interdisciplinary professional teams in the field of education sciences; using lifelong learning methods and techniques for continuous professional training.
