The Science of Commodities and Quality Management Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Economic Sciences PLOIEŞTI Program description The programme provides specialists with an optimum level of knowledge and competences that are demanded on the labour market. Among the professional competences that will be developed we mention: adequately operating with theories, concepts and tools specific to fundamental economic disciplines; collecting, processing, analysing and capitalizing information on internal and external environment of the organization; applying the quality approach in the activity of the economic organization; assessing quality issues for various groups of goods; acquiring, analysing and controlling legal requirements, policies, measures applied in the field of goods quality, as well as in the field of consumer and environment protection. Several transversal competences will also be developed: applying the principles, norms and values of the professional ethics in the context of the own strategy of rigorous, efficient and responsible work; identifying the roles and responsibilities as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply communication techniques and effective networking within the team up at work; identifying the opportunities for lifelong learning and effectively capitalizing learning resources and techniques for the own development.
