The curricula starts with two-year basic education, including courses such as mathematics, physics, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc. It continues with two-year specialization, related to wheeled vehicle dynamics, design, modeling and control of the internal combustion engine, the operating principles of the transmission system, the design of the clutch actuation system, and transmission dynamics and control, explains the automotive electronic control unit and its functionalities, provides the background of the automotive system diagnosis. A graduate has the ability to solve problems specific to wheeled vehicle, both in terms of engine issues and malfunctions of steering and braking systems. Thus, an automotive engineer with this specialty engineering can work in design, development and manufacture of cars, trucks, motorcycles and other motor vehicles.
