Doctrina socială și ecumenică a bisericii în contemporaneitate Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Orthodox Theology and Education Sciences TÎRGOVIŞTE Program description The aim of this study program is of educational and moral-spiritual nature, intending to clergy training for pastoral and administrative structures of the Orthodox Church. The objectives of the program are as follows: • Providing through its components (department, research centers, and student scientific circles) the conditions necessary for the training of specialists in this field with higher education, of postgraduate and doctorate for the society. • Providing excellence in the act of teaching, in scientific research and education. • Promoting Christian Orthodox religion, of science and culture in the spirit of democracy, of moral and spiritual requirements, of academic freedom, of growing openness to the international scientific community in the area of European and world culture and civilization. • Preventing the forms of exclusivism and intolerance in the Christian irenic spirit and in that of principles and values specific to an intercultural society as well.
