Romanian Language and Literature Studies Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Letters CRAIOVA Program description Upon completion, graduates of this MA program will have acquired the following professional skills: superior understanding of the structure and architecture of language; appropriate use of concepts in the study of general linguistics, theory of literature, world literature, and comparative literature; effective oral and written communication in Romanian; description of the phonetic, grammatical, and lexical systems of Romanian; analysis of literary texts within their cultural context. These competences will allow employment as a teacher in high school education, philologist, literary reviewer, linguistic reviewer, research assistant, linguistic consultant, education counselor, advertising copywriter, radio/TV contributor, special correspondent (country and abroad), researcher, columnist, lecturer, book publisher, commentator, editor, cultural officer, reporter (higher education), writer, and editorial secretary (higher education).
