Communication and Public Relations Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CRAIOVA Program description The mission of the study programme Communication Sciences and Public Relations is both didactic and of scientific research, in accordance with the national nomenclature of professional classifications and it also answers the needs of the labour market in Romania. The mission is also that of training and educating students and graduates capable of acting as specialists in communication and public relations for activities specific to the occupation, carried out in institutions, companies, parties and political organizations and NGOs. These specialists will have competences and skills in the creation and management of organizational image, in the mediation and negotiation of conflicts, as well as in conceiving and writing audiovisual messages in Romanian and in one or two foreign languages. The study programme aims to develop and improve students’ professional and transversal competences.Upon completion, graduates can exert the attributions of: specialists in Public Relations, specialists in relations with mass-media (media relations officer, media planner, media buyer) & in communication audit, spokesmen, event organizers, brand managers, crisis managers, copywriters, account managers, PR& HR consultants, corporate publishers, marketing specialists, mediators, protocol organizers, trainers, evaluators of professional competences, political communication consultants, image consultants, teachers.
