About this programme
Dramatic Writing Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Theatre Faculty Bucharest Program description The Master's in Dramatic Writing aims to train professionals in the field of researching dramatic structures and contemporary theatre text creation practices." The Master's programme offers courses and practical modules, both within the specific creative study as well as in collaboration with students from the Master's in Directing. The courses have a theoretical component, through which the foundations are laid for the understanding of the dramatic text in the diversity of its writing formulas, but also a practical one, through which the approach to different dramaturgical structures is pursued. At the same time, the Master's emphasizes the involvement of the playwright in all construction phases of the performance or the alternative artistic project; thus, the dramatic text develops as the performance is elaborated. Therefore, we aim at the articulation of multidisciplinary teams in which students from the Master's in Dramatic Writing can exercise their quality as playwrights or documentarians. The study period is completed by a theoretical and practical dissertation, which is based on a creative and research topic agreed and supervised by the coordinating professor.
