Land Measurements and Cadaster Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Agriculture TIMIŞOARA Program description Our mission is training engineers with competencies in the fields: geodesy-cartography, topography-land registry and photogrammetry-remote sensing by studying land measurement, IT operations, draft and usage of topographic and cadastral plans.Main objectives:Acquiring the methods for the draft and usage of plans and maps;Understanding the form and sizes of earth and the concrete methods for its representation;Using the equipment and work methods for making planimetric and altimetric situation plans;Identifying the possibilities to establish clear evidence on lands;Understanding categories of agricultural and non-agricultural usage correlated with the phytotechnical and agrotechnical features of the main crops.Career prospects:city council offices for cadastre and real estate publicity;private companies of cadastre, land measurements, geodesy, GIS;offices for soil science and agrochemical research;public or private structures for accessing financial funds (APDRP, ADR, consultancy firms);public and private organisations implementing programs with national and international funding.
