About this programme

Computer Science Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Automation and Computers Science CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Computer Science is the study and the science of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems. The graduates of our computer science program develop a high-level understanding of systems as a whole. This understanding transcends the implementation details of the various components to encompass an appreciation for the structure of computer systems and the processes involved in their construction and analysis. Also the graduates of our computer science program possess a solid foundation that allows them to maintain their skills as the field evolves. The specific objectives of this educational program are targeting (i) the study and design of computer and network system’s components from both hardware and software perspectives and (ii) to offer multiple specialization alternatives such as: computer architecture design, software engineering, artificial intelligence, operating systems, database design, compiler design, computer networks and distributed systems.
