Early Education Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Facultatea de Științe ale Educației, Științe Sociale și Psihologie RÂMNICU VÂLCEA Program description The Early Education master’s programme aims to create a formal, scientifically grounded framework with strong practical relevance, through which the competences required for educational activities at early ages can be developed by using play-based activities, play being the dominant activity of childhood.The idea underlying this master’s programme is that the traditional educational strategies used in school learning are no longer sufficient or adequately adapted to children’s learning needs. It therefore becomes necessary to train specialists for the stages of early childhood education, with the aim of preventing school failure, school dropout, and even children’s failure to integrate into the compulsory education system.The focus on this field of advanced study is also supported by the growing emphasis on the use of play-based contexts to stimulate individual learning pathways at early ages, as well as by the need to professionalise the teaching staff who carry out educational activities at this stage of development. https://masterat.upb.ro/masterate/educatie-timpurie-1
