Product Manufacturing Engineering and Management Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Mechanics and Technology PITEŞTI Program description Product Manufacturing Engineering and Management is a two-year Master’s degree programme in Industrial Engineering, established at the University of Pitești in the 2005–2006 academic year. Since 2012–2013, the programme has included international cooperation with Université de Lorraine, Metz campus.The programme aims to train specialists in integrated product design and manufacturing, as well as in manufacturing process management. Graduates are prepared to model and design product components, simulate manufacturing processes and manage production activities using specialised software such as ABAQUS and CATIA.The knowledge, skills and competencies acquired during the programme support advanced professional development in product manufacturing and provide access to a wide range of careers. Graduates may work as mechanical product design engineers, integrated manufacturing technology engineers, process equipment researchers, heads of mechanical product design departments or production project managers. They may also continue their studies at doctoral level in Industrial Engineering.
