Food Product Engineering Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING GALAŢI Program description The study program is designed to develop continuous professional and transversal competencies, by identifying, describing and using the appropriate skills, specific to food science and food safety; leading general engineering processes in food industry facilities and equipment; supervision, management, analysis and design of food technologies from raw materials to the final product; management of production, food quality control and marketing processes; management of technologies for highly valorisation of by-products, while ensuring environmental protection.The employment opportunities are: engineer in the food industry, food engineer designer; food engineering advisor; expert in food industry; inspector; researcher; teacher in secondary education; extrajudicial technical expert; food safety auditor.
