Security Studies

About this programme

Security Studies Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Political Science Bucharest Program description The courses offered within the Security Studies (SS) program are taught exclusively in Romanian. In the first two years, the curriculum has English or French classes for students in order to be able to go through the bibliography and reach at least B1 level in an international exam for a language certification. The variety of courses offered in this undergraduate program, accredited by ARACIS, reflects the process of conceptual and methodological reform of security studies as an academic discipline. It is worth highlighting the innovative aspect of this undergraduate program in the national educational offer. In this sense, it is possible to notice an approach of this academic discipline that starts from the traditional perspective, whose core is represented by strategic, military and national security studies, migrating to the complex territory of political sciences.Courses catalogue: https://fsp.unibuc.ro/en/ssl-en/
