Intercultural Communication in Business. German Language Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Facultatea de Litere si Arte SIBIU Program description Taught in German (4 semesters). The program is an interdisciplinary initiative and prepares graduates for careers requiring strong professional and intercultural language skills. The program’s curriculum addresses the significance and influence of linguistic and cultural differences on professional work in the cultural, educational, and media sectors. It encompasses the intricacies of intercultural communication, the practice of oral and written communication in economic and business contexts, specialized languages and text types in the financial field, translation and interpreting, as well as specialized knowledge related to the development of financial systems in various cultural contexts, their specific traits and mechanisms, and the effects of globalization on economic policies, markets, and industrial sectors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This program fosters the essential skills to apply language and specialized knowledge across a wide range of professional domains, such as economics, media, cultural management, and cultural mediation, particularly within the numerous German companies in Sibiu.
