Biochemistry Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Chemistry, Biology and Geography TIMIŞOARA Program description In the current context of the development of the life sciences, when most investigations take place at the subcellular level, at the level of molecules, Biochemistry as a field of investigation has acquired an indisputable dimension. Life itself is a multitude of chemical reactions that take place at the subcellular and cellular level. At the present time, it is impossible to imagine research on the metabolism of organisms that does not have a biochemical component. The current monitoring of the health status of the human individual and not only, is also done at the level of biochemical parameters. The huge advances in the field of cellular and molecular biology, genetics, physiology, were not possible without biochemistry.
