Industrial Safety Engineering Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering BRAŞOV Program description The bachelor’s field in which this study program integrates is Industrial Engineering, and the duration of studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits). It mainly involves the training of engineers capable of coordinating safety activities in the industry. The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH) establishes the presumption of general liability of the employer in all matters relating to occupational safety and health within the company. The problems regarding the identification and assessment of risks, the establishment of the most appropriate measures, activities and possibilities to prevent accidents in the respective company are entirely the responsibility of the employer, which requires top specialists in OSH.Perspectives after graduation: Occupational safety and health engineer industry; Occupational safety and health specialist, Occupational safety and health inspector, Occupational safety inspector, Auditor and evaluator of occupational health and safety management systems; Occupational safety and health manager.
