About this programme
This specialisation combines fluid mechanics, computational modelling, and environmental engineering to address challenges involving water, energy, and complex flow systems. You will work with computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, and advanced simulation methods, developing the ability to analyse and optimise systems like water infrastructure and environmental and industrial processes. This choice is particularly relevant for careers in advanced modelling, computational fluid dynamics, water systems engineering, energy systems, and research-intensive engineering applications. Bachelor’s degree in : Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, or the equivalent Prerequisites: Mathematics (at least 30 cr. including Linear Algebra, Mathematical Statistics or Probability Theory, Numerical Analysis, Multivariable Analysis), Finite Element Method (FEM) or Finite Volume Method (FVM) (including Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations) , Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Programming, Environmental Science/Sustainability Science (6 cr.) Select the programme Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering, MSc with the specialisation Fluid Mechanics and Water Systems when applying via antagning.se or universityadmissions.se This guide explains how to apply for a Master's programme and which documents you need to submit to complete your application.
