About this programme

No fees are charged for EU and EEA citizens, Swedish residence permit holders and exchange students. The course provides basic knowledge of biological methods in computer science, such as genetic algorithms, genetic programming, and artificial life. These methods are both relevant to technical applications, for example in optimization and design of autonomous systems, and for understanding biological systems, e.g. through simulation of evolutionry processes. Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
