About this programme

This course offers an introduction to the field of global gender studies, focusing on the different "waves" of feminism and gender studies. What defines each wave's perspective on sex, gender, and social differences from various global viewpoints? What is at stake, and how do these ideas connect to broader scientific and societal changes? If you want to specialize in global challenges related to gender and sexuality—such as integration, identity politics, and equality—this course is for you.
