About this programme
This course is suitable for those who want to understand Chinese film and the film industry from a historical, cultural and global perspective. You will study Chinese film from early screenings in Shanghai to today’s global film market, and discuss questions of identity, transnational cinema and the circulation of film in China, Asia and the wider world.
