About this programme
No fees are charged for EU and EEA citizens, Swedish residence permit holders and exchange students. When we solve a problem with the help of computers, we often get large quantities of data. To interpret the data and thus gain insight into the problem itself, computer graphics are an invaluable tool. We might want to understand how air flows around an airplane or create an image of a complicated geometrical object. In this course you will use advanced Matlab graphics and systems such as OpenGL, OpenDX and ParaView to visualize data. We will treat visualization in three dimensions, animation, and user. Knowledge equivalent to 60 credits, including the courses MMG300 Multivariable Analysis and MMG410 Numerical Analysis, and a course in programming. All eligible applicants who have applied before the deadline will be granted a place. Mathematical Sciences is a joint department of Chalmers/University of Gothenburg. Your education takes place in the spacious and bright premises of Mathematical Sciences at the Chalmers campus Johanneberg, where there are lecture halls, computer rooms and group rooms. Here you can also find student lunch room and reading room, as well as student counsellors and student office.
