The course includes training in various circus disciplines and discussions about the methods and working practices used in these practices. The training is at a basic level, and the physical requirements of the course can be adapted to the individual level of the students. The course is aimed at artists from other fields who want to gain an understanding of the working methods and approaches used in the circus arts, and the conditions, needs and requirements of a circus artist. If you have an artistic practice in a physical art form such as dance , theatre or mime , you can find working methods that can be transferred to or provide perspective on your own practice. The same applies to those with an artistic practice as, for example, a dramaturg , director or sound and lighting technician . Regardless of your role, you will strengthen your professional competence with a broader understanding of how you can work with circus artists. The course will take place on site at Brinellvägen 34 and Brinellvägen 58 and will mainly be scheduled in the afternoons. The approximate time is between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. throughout all five weeks.
