Economic analyses of forestry problems

About this programme

The course discusses sustainable use of forests from an economic perspective. The course focuses on how plans, harvest and valuation of forest are pursued based on forest owners’ preferences. Swedish taxation is also included in the course. 7,5 credits in business administration or economics and english 6. Exceptions are allowed from the requirement of basic competence in Swedish. The schedule for the course is preliminary and may be subject to change until the course begins. Mandatory sessions and examinations are typically not changed and will only be adjusted in exceptional cases.
