About this programme
Analysing statistical relationships between different variables is useful in many situations. In this course, you will become familiar with all the methods, use statistical analyses with modern software and work with data analysis in your own project. In many cases, you want to study relationships between different variables and draw possible conclusions. In the course, you will be introduced to the powerful and general statistical methods available in regression and variance analysis. You will also get an overview of different experimental designs. In the area of practical work with data, it is important to find a suitable method for the given problem and to evaluate the results of the method and draw reasonable conclusions. In the course, you will work with questions about data in computer exercises and apply your knowledge in your own small project. MS0071, Statistics B - Regression analysis and analysis of variance, 7.5 Hp Print syllabus Finalized by: DECISION MAKER, YYYY-MM-DD Valid from : Spring semester 2024 (2024-01-15) The grade requirements within the course grading system are set out in specific criteria. These criteria must be available by the course start at the latest. The objective of the course is to give an overview of methods within the range of general linear models, such as regression analysis and analysis of variance. On completion of the course the student will be able to: • describe general linear models, such as regression and ANOVA models, including conditions and assumptions • select an appropriate general linear model for a given experimen
