About this programme

The focus will be on bacteria, on how they may cause infections and their significance in the environment, both on land and in water. We will also discuss adaptations of microbes, their interactions with the environment and biotechnical applications. At the end of the course, you will write an essay about a microbiological topic of your own choice. The education consists of lectures, laboratory exercises, group discussions, project work and seminars.
