About this programme
This specialization gives you a deep knowledge of Spanish-language literature. In addition, the studies also offer a broader perspective where the Spanish-language literature is related to literatures of other Romance-languages, such as Italian or Portuguese, in a comparative perspective. In addition to courses on the theory of interpretation and narrative, the programme gives you an in-depth knowledge of the history of Hispanic literature, the role of Spanish- and Romance-language literatures in a global world, and the emergence of national literatures in Romance languages. Questions about the structure and content of the programme can be answered by the study counsellor, whom you can contact at studievagledare.spanska@su.se . The coordinator for the Master’s Programme in Literature is Axel Englund, axel.englund@littvet.su.se . To follow your passion. To be close to international career opportunities.
