About this programme
Quantum computational devices will likely be accessible in the near future. In the course, we mainly focus on techniques that will be used to program and work with them. What is quantum computing and how can it be used? A new course aimed at students who are curious about quantum programming. If you know some programming (15 credits required) and have an interest in mathematics, this course is designed for you. We posed some questions to Mateus de Oliveira Oliveira, teacher of the course, about quantum programming, quantum computers and what you will learn in the course. The teaching consists of lectures and supervision. Lectures will be recorded. The course can be followed remotely for students that wish to do so. To follow your passion. To be close to international career opportunities. To explore city and countryside. In Stockholm you can really get the best of both worlds. Here we explain all the different steps you need to go through when applying to a course or programme. Stockholm University arranges regular webinars and participates in educational fairs and events virtually and around the world to meet students and inform them about our study programmes. Every year Stockholm University welcomes thousands of international students from all over the world. Each bringing their own backpack full of experiences, expectations and dreams. Education and research are closely linked at Stockholm University. As a student, you will have direct contact with leading researchers in your field and access to the most recent scientific findings.
