About this programme
The course is aimed at solving physics problems in electrodynamics, quantum physics, theoretical mechanics and solid state physics by computer calculations. The numerical methods are: Fast Fourier Transform, reduction of a symmetric matrix to tridiagonal form, eigenvalues and eigenvectors to a tridiagonal matrix. Methods to solve ordinary differential equations: Runge Kutta, Leap frog, Richardson extrapolation, Bulirsch-Stoer, Predictor-Corrector. Two-point boundary value problems. Your message goes to Infocenter, and they’ll make sure it gets to the right person – so you get the best and most relevant reply.
