About this programme

Electrical and electronic engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines and uses cutting-edge technology to address some of the major concerns of the modern world. Year three includes a group design project and specialist units in electrical, electronic and communication subjects. In the fourth year you will undertake an individual project and choose from a wide variety of optional taught units which are informed by the latest technological developments and underpinned by research-informed teaching. The first three years are common with the BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and transfer on to the BEng is possible before the end of year three.
