About this programme
Our joint honours course allows you to explore your interests in Anthropology and Sociology while building a solid foundation in both subjects. You'll gain a range of personal and professional skills that will serve as a springboard for your future career. The programme is designed to enable you to gradually develop your knowledge and skills to become an effective and independent learner. When you study Anthropology, you’ll explore what makes us human, what drives our diversity and how we’re connected to our environment. Sociology is a wide-ranging subject that analyses social relationships and institutions, examining how they shape people’s lives. Links between research and undergraduate teaching are an important and distinctive feature of the programme. The combined research experience and competencies of our staff have shaped its design, content and delivery. Wherever possible we make our conditional offers using the UCAS Tariff. The combination of A-level grades listed here would be just one way of achieving the UCAS Tariff points for this course. Applications are also welcomed for consideration from applicants with European qualifications, international qualifications or recognised foundation courses. For advice on eligibility please contact Admissions: admissions@brookes.ac.uk If you don’t achieve the required tariff points you can apply to join a foundation course.
