About this programme
Our International Business Management course will prepare you for a career in international organisations. You will understand the challenges managers face in a global world. And gain the confidence to work in a range of international environments. Our teaching staff have professional experience and links with industry, and they write leading textbooks on business and management. You'll also attend guest lectures with industry leaders. To offer you flexibility, after the first year, you can switch to either Business, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship or Business and Management . To get the most out of your degree you are strongly encouraged to undertake an exchange for one semester at a partner institution abroad. During an exchange, you will not only experience first hand living and learning in a different culture, but you will also earn credit towards your degree. Accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) In Year 1 , you will learn about the fundamentals of business and management within an international organisation. You also have the opportunity to study one of the languages offered at the University. This could contribute up to a quarter of your marks. In Year 2 and your Final Year you will focus on international management, critical thinking and international business strategy. In Year 2 you will take a module to improve your employability. As you progress through your course you will search for graduate employment opportunities.
