As the world’s first Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University have been pioneers in the study of political power for over a hundred years. On the BA Politics degree, we build on this legacy today by exploring the key dynamics which shape our world, such as ideologies, political economy, social hierarchies and liberal institutions. Lecturers in the Department of International Politics are all research active and qualified to PhD level, and most also have a PGCHE.
