About this programme

Psychology is the scientific study of mental processes. On our MSci Psychology, you’ll seek to understand yourself, others and society through scientific and reflective investigation. You’ll develop a deep, evidence-based understanding of human behaviour, while also building professional skills to set you up for your career. As an integrated master’s degree, the fourth year takes you even further and provides the opportunity to undertake a major research project - preparing you for a future in research, whether that’s in academia or industry. As an integrated master’s degree, the fourth year takes you even further and provides the opportunity to undertake a major research project - preparing you for a future in research, whether that’s in academia or industry. You’ll study with a team that includes senior academics, international research experts and industry practitioners - who all bring cutting-edge psychological science directly into your studies. From your first year, you’ll develop strong psychological literacy, exploring how identity, memory, emotion, relationships and social systems work and why they sometimes don’t. Our course is structured so your knowledge grows confidently and progressively.
