About this programme
The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Hospitality Management is designed for those seeking a practical, industry-focused curriculum in hospitality, while also providing career pathways into related fields such as tourism, business, and catering. The curriculum blends theory and applied learning. You will explore how hospitality businesses operate, how to design and deliver excellent customer experiences, and how to manage accommodation and events. You will also develop essential business skills in marketing, finance, and leadership, with a focus on sustainability and ethical practice. Learning is hands-on and engaging, with assignments based on real-world scenarios. You will gain experience in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy, preparing you for a wide range of entry-level and supervisory roles in hotels, restaurants, events, and tourism. The HNC is recognised by employers and universities and provides a direct pathway to the HND or to the second year of a related degree. You will develop a broad knowledge and awareness of key aspects of hospitality through five core units. There are no up-front tuition fees for this course when taking out a student loan.
