About this programme

If you care about animal welfare, have an interest in the biological sciences, and want to work with animals, this foundation degree offers the perfect platform. You'll develop a range of biological science and animal-related skills by studying specific areas concerning animal behaviour and welfare. This will equip you for a variety of careers within the animal management industry, or for further study (such as BSc Hons Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare). Modules cover animal behaviour, welfare and husbandry, as well as breeding management and genetics. These make full use of the state-of-the-art facilities that are designed with animal welfare and species-specific behavioural needs in mind. The course is offered by one of the university's partner colleges: Hadlow College in Kent. Course information is currently unavailable for this programme. Please contact course-info@gre.ac.uk for more information. The University Centre Hadlow is a dedicated part of Hadlow College offering a rural campus setting for our courses in partnership with the University of Greenwich. Applicants without the required UCAS Tariff points that have relevant experience may be considered. We make Contextual offers to this programme. Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met. For further information, please see our Contextual Admissions policy.
