About this programme

Graduate keen to pursue a career in law? Aberdeen offers the exclusive opportunity of a highly-ranked two-year LLB programme for graduates in other subjects with a good honours degree. You will gain all the benefits of our trademark breadth, depth, choice and quality at Aberdeen Law School. If you are an aspiring lawyer with a good undergraduate degree in a subject other than law, the University of Aberdeen provides a route to qualifying without any compromise on quality. A major factor in our quality is the calibre and enthusiasm of our staff, testing your mental agility with complex, realistic legal scenarios as you get to grips with criminal, public and private law, legal systems, contracts, human rights and explore family law, the law of property and legal aspects of the EU. You will also have lots of opportunity to hone your developing legal skills in student-led initiatives such as mock legal debating, our highly active Law Society, the students’ journal in which your work may be published and our community law clinic – the Aberdeen Law Project. You will graduate with the knowledge and strong intellectual skills to pursue a career in the wide variety of legal professions. In addition, more tha
