About this programme
Mastering complex issues relating to new technologies (such as nanotechnologies and biotechnologies) require a certain level of business and legal expertise, such as being able to successfully assess complex environmental, corporate, legal, or criminal aspects, as well as understand and draft contracts, etc. The four-semester program in “Legal and Business Aspects in Technics” (ReWiTech) is hands-on and interdisciplinary, providing students with a deeper understanding of business and law. Aimed at graduates of degree programs in engineering and natural sciences, the program can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. More and more companies seek engineers who also have a strong background in business and the law. The JKU Master’s degree program in “Legal and Business Aspects in Technics” (ReWiTech) is responding to the demand by offering a customized academic degree program providing engineers with additional skill sets in economics, business management, as well as in both general and specialized areas of law. The program gives you highly sought-after, interdisciplinary qualifications, allowing you to better understand and react to today’s increasingly complex business challenges. This unique combination of studies in business and law is aimed at educated engineers and has become an important ‘career tool’ in today’s business world. More than ever before, senior positions at companies depend heavily on sound business expertise. Graduates of the ReWiTech program are in high demand and work in a number of areas, including:
