About this programme

The bachelor’s programme “Statistik und Wirtschaftsmathematik” (hereafter: Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics) focuses on how to collect, analyze, and interpret data in order to make better decisions and optimize processes. You will learn various statistical methods and mathematical tools that can be applied to problems in business, natural sciences, and society. This enables you to represent complex issues in clear numerical terms and through mathematical models, thereby supporting decision-making processes. Many questions in business and society are highly complex and difficult to answer—statistics and business mathematics help to understand these questions and provide well-founded solutions. There is no selection procedure for the Bachelor's degree programmes in Technical Mathematics.
