The Advanced Accounting Diploma and Specialized Co-op Diploma offer a quick two-year path to an accounting career, using your existing degree. Whether you’re reskilling or changing careers, this two‑year program helps you develop the technical, analytical and real‑world skills needed to succeed as a Charted Professional Accountant (CPA). You’ll complete advanced coursework in financial reporting, management accounting, taxation, auditing and analytics. Your classes will give you the opportunity to gain experience using industry software and solving real business problems through case studies and applied assignments. The Advanced Accounting Diploma is designed so students can step into accounting roles sooner, with a curriculum aligned to CPA preparatory learning outcomes. You’ll analyze cases, work with business software, produce financial reports, interpret data and solve real‑world accounting scenarios. You’ll build the skills to lead in finance and prep for your CPA designation while you're at it. Prior degrees can be in almost any discipline making this a great option for anyone looking to re-skill, update your training, or jump into a whole new career. Graduates with a 4-year degree can jump right into the CPA Professional Education Program while gaining work experience. You can take this course part-time or full-time, depending on your availability and goals. Classes will primarily be held in person at RDP. Some online class options might be available, but you should expect to complete most of this program in person.
