Computer Programming Diploma

About this programme

Explore scripting, testing, and debugging , because writing code is only part of the job. Making it work and making it secure is where the real skill comes in. From day one, you’ll build applications that respond to real needs , working through challenges in web, mobile, and desktop environments. As you progress, you’ll be able to build full-stack applications and automate tasks. Study how data moves through systems and how to design interfaces that make sense to users. Along the way, you’ll learn to write clean code, test it, and keep it secure. Through applied learning and project management opportunities, you will develop proficiency in communication, collaboration and inclusive approaches to work in diverse settings. A two-semester capstone project in the second year of study will have you working with an external client to complete a project. Learn about more experiential learning opportunities available through the Career Education and Experience Development Centre.
