About this programme

The Bachelor of Construction Management (BCM) prepares graduates to lead complex construction projects through a combination of technical knowledge, applied learning, and industry-relevant skills. This program builds on prior education and industry experience to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the construction industry. Students develop the knowledge and skills to plan, coordinate and manage construction projects, including scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, contract administration, risk management and safety. Through applied learning, students strengthen their communication, leadership and decision-making skills while applying ethical and sustainable practices to real-world construction challenges. Graduates are prepared to lead the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. In the final year of the program, students complete a capstone project that integrates academic knowledge with practical experience to address complex construction management challenges. Designed for working professionals, courses are delivered in the evening, offering a flexible learning experience that combines in-person classes with limited online coursework, and the option to enroll part time.
