About this programme
The graduate diploma and MA program in Classics at Memorial offers students the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge of ancient Greece and Rome. The department is able to provide a flexible course of studies that caters to the individual needs and interests of students. Specific areas of strength are Roman Studies, including literary and cultural studies; Greek literature and historiography; and more broadly, the relation between literary texts and material culture within the various subdisciplines of classical studies. Graduate applicants interested in research-based programs are strongly encouraged to connect with a faculty supervisor at the time of application. The School of Graduate Studies offers advice on how to search for and contact potential supervisors . Need more help?
